Yascha Noonberg

I moved to Portland in the ‘90s after growing up in Maryland and going to college in Texas, and I’ve called this city home ever since. My family and I have lived on both sides of the river, and we spend as much downtime as we can at the coast in Manzanita.

My career started with music. I owned and ran a music school and recording studio in SE Portland, and that’s where I learned how to run a small business built on relationships and trust. Over time I became a real estate investor myself. That led me to advising other buyers, sellers, and investors, and eventually to getting my license in 2012.

Since then I’ve helped clients through more than 850 transactions across the Portland metro, from first homes and mid-century gems to multifamily investments and land. I founded The Yascha Group under Living Room Realty to give clients a small-team experience backed by a brokerage that shares our values.

How I Work

Sellers: I believe every home deserves more than a sign in the yard. I prepare and price carefully, connect you with trusted contractors, and market with strong photography, video, and sometimes even an original song.

Buyers: I take a low-pressure, consultative approach. I know Portland’s neighborhoods well, and I’ll tell you honestly when a home isn’t the right fit. When the right one comes along, I’ll help you write an offer that wins.

Investors and ADUs: As an investor myself and a Certified Residential Investment Specialist, I help clients evaluate rentals, multifamily, and ADU potential with the numbers in front of them.

Beyond Real Estate

Music is still a big part of my life. I play steel drums, perform with the local jazz group Trashcan Joe, and bring my production background into my listing videos. When I’m not working or with my family, I’m usually on a tennis court in a league or tournament, or learning pickleball.
